Welcome to Aruen.

These Terms & Conditions set out the agreements that apply when you access Aruen, its Portal, community spaces, correspondence, library, and related materials.

By accessing Aruen, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Portal or associated community spaces.

1. About Aruen

Aruen is an immersive storytelling and experiential community created by Roshelle Celeste.

Aruen may include written stories, video correspondence, guided experiences, rituals, meditations, breathwork, audio recordings, artwork, creative contributions, community conversations, and other materials.

The content and structure of Aruen may evolve over time. New places, stories, experiences, and community spaces may be added, changed, or retired as Aruen develops.

Some aspects of Aruen may be available to all members, while other content or experiences may depend on your membership or permission level.

2. Your Access

Your access to Aruen is personal to you.

Please do not share your Portal login, access links, private materials, or member-only content with others unless you have been specifically invited to do so.

Some experiences, spaces, or materials may be available only to particular paths, memberships, or groups.

If your access to Aruen ends, your permission to access restricted or member-only materials will also end.

3. Mailing Address & Contact Information

Some Aruen experiences may include physical correspondence, materials, or other items sent by mail.

You are responsible for maintaining a current and accurate mailing address in your Aruen account or member profile.

If your mailing address changes, you must:

Update your address in the system; and
Notify Roshelle Celeste by email at support@roshelleceleste.com so that the mailing spreadsheet can be updated.

Both steps are required. Updating your address in the system does not replace the requirement to notify Roshelle by email.

We are not responsible for items that are delayed, misdelivered, or returned because the mailing address provided is incomplete or outdated.

If an item is returned to us because of an incorrect or outdated address, any additional costs associated with reshipping may be the responsibility of the recipient.

4. The Content of Aruen

The stories, characters, world-building, correspondence, written materials, videos, recordings, rituals, artwork, and other creative materials within Aruen are part of the Aruen experience and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Unless otherwise stated, all Aruen materials remain the property of Roshelle Celeste.

Your access gives you permission to personally experience and enjoy these materials. It does not transfer ownership of them to you.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, teach, license, modify, or commercially use Aruen materials without written permission.

This includes recording, copying, downloading for redistribution, reposting, or sharing member-only content outside the intended Aruen community.

5. Sharing Aruen

You are welcome to tell others about Aruen and invite people to discover it.

You may share publicly available links to Aruen and use approved invitation materials provided for that purpose.

Please do not copy or distribute the actual contents of the Portal, letters, Library Vault experiences, or other member-only materials as a way of introducing someone to Aruen.

A simple invitation is welcome.

Sharing the experience itself is not.

6. The Correspondence

The Correspondence is a fictional and immersive storytelling element within Aruen.

The Correspondent, Kitcat, Aruen, and other characters, places, stories, and elements of the world are part of this creative experience.

Some materials may intentionally blur the boundaries between story, reflection, imagination, and lived experience.

You are invited to engage with the world in whatever way feels meaningful to you. You are not required to interpret its stories, symbols, or experiences in any particular way.

7. Immersive and Experiential Content

Some Aruen materials may include meditation, visualization, breathwork, ritual, somatic practices, reflection, movement, or other experiential practices.

These are offered for educational, creative, reflective, and experiential purposes.

Please listen to your own body and judgment when participating.

You are responsible for determining whether an experience is appropriate for you and for stopping or modifying your participation whenever necessary.

If you have concerns about whether a particular practice is appropriate for you, please consult an appropriately qualified healthcare or other professional before participating.

Aruen is not a substitute for medical, psychological, therapeutic, or other professional care.

8. Community Spaces

Aruen may include access to community spaces such as Discord.

By participating in these spaces, you agree to communicate respectfully and follow the Community Guidelines.

You are responsible for the content you choose to share.

Please respect the privacy of other members and do not share another person's personal information, messages, photographs, or experiences outside the community without their permission.

Roshelle Celeste reserves the right to remove content or restrict or revoke community access when necessary to protect the wellbeing of the community or maintain these standards.

9. The Correspondent's Channel

The Correspondent may have a dedicated one-way communication space within the Village.

This space is intentionally designed for the Correspondent to leave messages, observations, and discoveries without ongoing member conversation.

Members may interact through permitted reactions, but should respect the purpose and boundaries of the space.

10. Creative Contributions

From time to time, members or invited artists may contribute artwork, writing, poetry, recipes, photographs, or other creative work to Aruen.

If you choose to submit something for possible inclusion in Aruen, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not knowingly infringe another person's rights.

By submitting creative materials for inclusion in Aruen, you retain ownership of your original work, but grant Roshelle Celeste a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, adapt, publish, and share the contribution within Aruen and in connection with communicating about, documenting, and promoting Aruen and its associated offerings. This may include use within the Portal, Field Journal, community spaces, website, social media, email communications, sales pages, and other promotional or marketing materials.

This permission allows the contribution to be used in ways that support, document, share, and promote the world of Aruen and its ongoing story. It does not transfer ownership of the original work to Roshelle Celeste.

If a particular contribution requires different terms, those terms will be agreed upon separately.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

Aruen may contain links to external websites, platforms, services, or experiences that are not operated by Roshelle Celeste.

These may include Discord, payment platforms, booking systems, sales pages, or websites belonging to artists and other contributors.

Once you leave Aruen and enter a third-party service, that service's own terms, privacy policies, and practices apply.

Roshelle Celeste is not responsible for the availability, content, security, or practices of third-party websites or services.

12. Payments, Cancellation & Refunds

Access to Aruen is available through paid pathways. The price and payment structure for your chosen Aruen pathway will be provided at the time of purchase.

Your purchase provides you with access to the Aruen content, experiences, and community spaces included within your chosen pathway for the applicable period.

Cancellation:

You may cancel your Aruen access at any time.

Aruen access is paid on a recurring basis. When you cancel, future payments will be stopped. Your access will remain available until the end of your current paid payment period, at which point your access to Aruen will end.

Cancelling your Aruen access does not cancel or reverse any payment that has already been processed.

Refunds:

All payments for Aruen access are non-refundable.

This includes payments made for a current or previous payment period, even if you choose to cancel your access before the end of that period.

If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact support@roshelleceleste.com and we will review the matter.

Experiences Beyond Aruen:

Aruen may contain invitations to other offerings, experiences, or services provided by Roshelle Celeste, including Earth Temple and Sacred Return.

These offerings are separate from Aruen access and are not included in your Aruen purchase unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Any purchase made for an offering outside of Aruen will be subject to the terms and conditions provided for that specific offering.

13. Changes to Aruen

Aruen is a living project and may change over time.

We may add, remove, modify, rename, or reorganize content, community spaces, experiences, or features.

We may also update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

When material changes are made, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate them through the Portal or relevant community channels.

Your continued use of Aruen after updated Terms & Conditions take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Availability

We will make reasonable efforts to keep Aruen and its associated services available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

There may occasionally be periods of maintenance, technical difficulties, platform changes, or circumstances outside our control that affect access.

If a third-party platform experiences an outage or changes its service, this may also affect your ability to access portions of Aruen.

15. Respect for the Work

Aruen is an original creative world that has been developed with care.

Please do not reproduce, adapt, teach, publish, commercialize, or create derivative works from Aruen's protected creative materials without written permission.

If you would like to use or build upon Aruen's protected creative materials in a way that is not permitted by these Terms & Conditions, please submit your written request for consideration by Roshelle Celeste.

16. Disclaimer

Aruen is provided as a creative, educational, reflective, and experiential offering.

No information or experience within Aruen should be understood as medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

You remain responsible for your own choices, participation, and use of the materials provided.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Roshelle Celeste is not responsible for losses or damages arising from your use of Aruen except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

17. Ending Access

We hope Aruen remains a welcoming place for everyone who enters.

However, access may be suspended or ended if someone seriously or repeatedly violates these Terms & Conditions, the Community Guidelines, or the safety and wellbeing of the community.

Where appropriate, we may first attempt to address concerns directly.
